I'm remodeling my whole house. Do you only do kitchens and bathrooms?  I can help with all your remodeling needs!

How long will it take? For most kitchen and bath remodels, depending on the scope of your project, from a couple of weeks to a few months.

How much will it cost? If you do some of the work yourself like demolition and painting, and keep existing cabinets, tub,  commode,  and flooring, you can give yourself quite the face lift with new fixtures, cabinet hardware, tops, appliances, and lighting for under $7000  depending on the size of the room.  A full blown master  bath remodel can easily reach $25,000 plus  and a kitchen can be $30,000 or more.

Will I need a permit?  This will depend on your county, the cost of your project and whether there are structural changes. If in doubt, ask your local building department. Most kitchen and bath remodels do not.

Should I reface or replace my cabinets?  Are they structurally in good shape? Are they a style you like? What is your budget. Aside from the cost of demolition, often re-facing is as expensive as new cabinets.

Can I reuse my appliances?  Depending on your budget, the age of your existing appliances and the purpose of your remodel, absolutely. If you are investing in new cabinets or tops and your appliances are 8 yrs. or older, definitely give a new cooktop , oven or microwave some thought.

Should I be worried about ordering online? Many of my clients are taking advantage of online offerings especially when it comes to faucets.

I've heard I shouldn't use marble in my kitchen. What is the truth? Most Marbles are not suitable for a well used kitchen if peace of mind is the goal. Marble is more porous than granite and polished marble can etch. Plan on signing a waiver if you choose this option and definitely keep it sealed!

Should I use tile or hardwood for my kitchen floors? Both have their pros and cons. While tile is easier to clean, it is more likely to cause leg or foot pain if you spend a lot of time prepping on your feet. Look for one of the new gel mats to solve that problem.

Will I recover the cost of remodeling when I sell my house? There are many studies that show  that remodeling a kitchen will get you as much as 95%-105% of the cost back. This is relative to the cost of the project and what other people have done in your market as well as market conditions.  Master bath remodels are  also at that list!

Where should I start?     Check out the planning tools and call today! The kitchen or bath of your dreams is just one phone call away!
